Our Story
Built in the South Bay,
Focused on Craft
Why We Stay Local
Riviera Village Tile Installation operates out of Redondo Beach and works exclusively in the South Bay coastal communities. That is not a marketing position. It is a practical one. The homes in Hollywood Riviera, Torrance, Hermosa Beach, and Palos Verdes Estates have specific characteristics, a coastal climate that punishes shortcuts, and an architecture ranging from 1950s ranch houses to newer hillside builds that each present their own tile challenges. Staying in this geography means we understand what we are walking into before the first site visit.
Our small crew handles full bathroom and shower remodels, kitchen floors and backsplashes, and outdoor patio work. We work with porcelain, ceramic, marble, slate, terrazzo, mosaic, and large-format slab materials. The scope of each job varies, but the approach does not. We measure carefully, plan the layout before the first tile goes down, and clean up after ourselves every single day on a multi-day job.
What You Can Expect
Written Estimates
Every project starts with a site visit and a written estimate that itemizes materials and labor. Nothing verbal, nothing approximate. You know the scope before work starts.
Coastal-Aware Prep
Waterproofing membrane, anti-fracture underlayment, and expansion joint placement are not optional extras. In a coastal climate they are the difference between tile that lasts and tile that fails in three years.
Layout First
We dry-lay and mark the layout before adhesive touches the wall. Pattern centerlines, grout joint spacing, and cut placement all get confirmed while adjustments are still free.
Clean Site, Every Day
Tile work generates dust, adhesive, and grout residue. We contain the work area and clean at the end of each day so the rest of your home stays livable during the project.
Where We Serve
Our work covers Hollywood Riviera, Torrance, Hermosa Beach, and Palos Verdes Estates. If you are in one of those communities and have a tile project, we would be glad to come take a look.
