What's in a Written Estimate

After we visit your site and take measurements, you receive a written estimate that breaks down the project clearly. It includes the scope of the tile work, the materials specified by type and format, the substrate prep required, and a line-item labor figure. If waterproofing or uncoupling membrane is needed, that appears as its own line rather than being folded into a lump sum. The estimate is not a binding contract, but it is specific enough that you can compare it against other bids on an apples-to-apples basis. There are no change-order surprises for work that was visible and measurable at the walkthrough.
